What is Perrin P Piddy Doing?

What do you think is happening in this picture?

I sit here with Perrin in my lap, typing to prove that I'm actually working, albeit slowly, on Perrin's next book.  Yes, I can write his books quite quickly, but getting quality pictures proves harder than they may seem.

I thought I was moving pretty quickly on the book, then I decided to change one page...and I realized I needed to rewrite the ending to go with the page change.  Meaning, I need more pictures of Perrin.  He is a cute guy, but he hates posing for pictures.

Above is a picture I'm using in the next book.  Nope, I'm not a decent artist, but Perrin seems to be okay with the illustration.  He did not like the drawing process, as I had to push him out of my lap to use the tablet to draw on the computer.  Such sacrifices a piddy makes!

Perrin P Piddy's Mama Needs to Write More!

Wow.  My last post was in January.  It's now March.  March. 

It's not like I've been doing nothing.  I did work a little on Perrin's next book.  It includes some illustrations.  I'm hoping kids don't mind my lack of drawing skills.

I also wrote the lyrics of a song with Justin Furstenfeld from Blue October.  He created all the music.  Our song has nothing to do with Perrin.  Maybe you'll hear it on the radio soon.

Justin is the one with the beard...

I really liked working with Justin because he made me create.  Talk about the project, write a bit, take a break.  Do more work.  

Perrin isn't such a good writing buddy.  He wants to sit in my lap and I'm supposed to pay attention to him instead of writing.  No work involved there.

I need to find more writers for my social circle.  Any takers?
